The Supreme Court is hearing arguments Wednesday on its five-case March calendar.
It’s possible there will be only four arguments because there’s a pending continuance motion, filed Friday, in the Leon v. County of Riverside case. However, the court earlier informed counsel in the case — as it tells counsel in all cases — that, “[o]nce the court files an order setting [a] case for oral argument, that date will not be changed absent exceptional cause, such as a medical emergency.”
As usual, the arguments are being live streamed.
Because of the oral arguments, the court will not be conferencing this week and there will be a double conference next week.
[Update: late this afternoon, the court ordered the Leon case “continued to a subsequent oral argument calendar.”]
