The Supreme Court won’t be conferencing this week.
Even though there are no oral argument sessions in July or August and, for all the other months the court skips conferencing only during those weeks in which it is hearing arguments, the court just doesn’t conference on the first Wednesdays of the summer months. (See the Supreme Court calendar.)
There will be a double conference next week.
