Mitchell Tilner and Emily Cuatto participating in Appellate Courts Walkthrough on Feb. 11

Horvitz & Levy LLP attorneys Mitchell C. Tilner and Emily Cuatto will be participating in the upcoming Appellate Courts Walkthrough in downtown Los Angeles on February 11, presented by the Appellate Courts Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. The Walkthrough is an afternoon at the Second Appellate District of the California Court of Appeal, designed to introduce practitioners to the appellate courts and appellate process. The program begins with a specially calendared oral argument, followed by a Q&A with the justices, which will be moderated by Emily Cuatto. The oral argument will then be followed by a series of panels presented by Justices, court staff, and top appellate practitioners on briefing skills and strategies, court procedure, and the writ process. Mitchell Tilner will participate in a panel discussing appellate brief writing.
