Chief Justice addresses court leaders

February 15, 2012

Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye recently addressed a gathering of presiding judges and court executives at their statewide meeting San Francisco. In this video digest of her remarks, the Chief addresses such wide-ranging topics as the pressing need to reverse deep cuts to the judicial branch’s budget, her views on AB 1208 (the now-stalled Trial Court Rights Act), the fate of the troubled Court Case Management System (CCMS), the future of the Administrative Office of the Courts, and the need for civility to encourage the sharing of divergent viewpoints within the judicial branch. You can watch a video of the Chief’s full remarks here.
