Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye and former Chief Justice Ronald George will be participating in a panel
discussion in two weeks at an event to celebrate a new book on the history of the California Supreme Court. The book was recently published by the California Supreme Court Historical Society [disclosure: I serve on the Society’s board], which previewed the book in its latest newsletter.
The event will also honor former Chief Justice Malcolm Lucas, who died in September. The full court will remember Lucas before the start of its December calendar.
