Here’s yet another case for the Supreme Court’s pandemic docket.
The court yesterday summarily denied an original writ petition (Mikhail v. County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health) that sought to annul the new Los Angeles County order generally requiring face masks be worn by all persons, regardless of vaccination status, when they are in indoor public settings and businesses.
The petition was filed a week ago. The denial order stated no reasons and there were no recorded dissenting votes.
