Saying that the COVID-19 pandemic “continue[s] to severely limit the State Bar’s ability to administer” the bar exam as usual, the Supreme Court today issued an order requiring the July 27 and 28 test to be “administered online as a mostly remotely delivered exam.” The court is, however, giving the Bar discretion to allow in-person testing, with “reasonable pandemic-related precautions,” to some applicants granted testing accommodations or with “extenuating circumstances.”
The passing score for the exam remains at the lowered level that the court set last summer.
