Horvitz & Levy attorney Steven Fleischman has been named Vice Chair, Appeals for the Insurance Law Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California. As Vice Chair, Mr. Fleischman is responsible for preparing appellate law updates regarding recent opinions involving insurance law. The appellate law updates are then discussed at monthly committee meetings.
The goal of the Insurance Law Committee is to provide a discussion forum for California insurance law practitioners and to act for the benefit of all similarly practicing lawyers throughout the state. The committee advocates positions on pending legislation, regulations, and rule changes.
