Saying “it is not feasible to administer an in person examination” in July, the State Bar trustees on Wednesday recommended that the Supreme Court postpone the bar exam, now scheduled for July 28 and 29, to September 9 and 10. The trustees also said the delayed exam should be administered “online, in person, or both as needed to address social distancing needs in place at that time.” Canceling the exam altogether is the trustees’ proposed action if a September exam is not possible.
Regulating the admission of applicants to the Bar is one of the Supreme Court’s many non-case-related tasks.
