Stanley Mosk biography due out next week

December 7, 2012

A biography of Stanley Mosk — who, among other accomplishments, served on the California Supreme Court for a record 36 years — has been published and will be available the end of next week. Justice Stanley Mosk: A Life at the Center of California Politics and Justice is co-authored by Jacqueline Braitman and Gerald Uelmen, who earlier this year wrote an article about Justice Mosk and the death penalty. The book’s subtitle is apt; the biography is sure to be a good read for those interested not only in California’s highest court, but also in the State’s history generally.
