We’re pleased to report that one of our favorite California appellate blogs, Southern California Appellate News, is again active after a several month hiatus. The torch has now been passed from blogger Nate Scott, who was recently appointed to the Superior Court, to Ben Shatz, a seasoned appellate practitioner and good friend of our firm. We’re pleased to see that Ben has been posting quite regularly. Among his recent posts are two relating to the Supreme Court. First, there is this one concerning how to challenge binding California Supreme Court authority, and this one concerning an LA County Bar event on January 31 honoring Justice Joyce Kennard.
