Using its mostly alphabetical assignment system, the Supreme Court today named the to-be-named-later pro tems for the six cases on the early-May calendar:

Lopez v. Sony Electronics, Inc.: Second District, Division Two, Justice Brian Hoffstadt.
Samara v. Matar: Third District Justice Andrea Hoch.
In re Manriquez: Fifth District Justice Donald Franson, Jr.
People v. Spencer: Fifth District Presiding Justice Brad Hill.
