Oral arguments today; no conference this week

December 1, 2020

The Supreme Court is hearing arguments on its December calendar today.  There are pro tem justices sitting on the four cases because of the vacancy created by Justice Ming Chin’s retirement.  However, this should be the last month when pro tems will be needed on each case because Martin Jenkins, whose appointment to the court was confirmed three weeks ago, should soon take his oath of office and begin serving.

As usual, the arguments are being live streamed.

Because of the oral arguments, the court will not be conferencing this week.
