H&L named to National Law Journal’s Pro Bono Hot List

January 9, 2014

The National Law Journal has named Horvitz & Levy LLP to its 2014 Pro Bono Hot List. The list highlights firms and attorneys from around the country who demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and “donated hundreds of hours to people in need of legal services.” Horvitz & Levy is the only boutique firm to make the list. The other honorees include eight national law firms and the in-house legal department of a large company.

In the profile of Horvitz & Levy, the NLJ features the work of partner Jeremy Rosen, who used a Ninth Circuit appeal to prevent the deportation of a family and directed Pepperdine Law School’s Ninth Circuit Clinic, where he supervises students in handling appeals for formerly pro se litigants.
