Goldstein v. Beck: Unpublished Opinion Affirms $4 Million in Punitive Damages

The California Court of Appeal (Second Appellate District, Division Seven) issued this unpublished opinion last week, affirming a $2 million compensatory damages award and a $4 million punitive damages award. The court rejected the appellant’s argument that the record contained no substantial evidence of malice, oppression, or fraud.
