How Gaspard Helps Clients
Gaspard has a decade’s worth of experience in high-profile business litigation at the trial and appellate levels. He has handled a broad swath of cases, from commercial disputes to class action lawsuits, for companies in a variety of industries, including in the financial services, consumer products, transportation, and telecommunications sectors. As an advocate, Gaspard pays special attention to understanding his clients’ business and regulatory environments in order to convey their stories and legal arguments in a meaningful and persuasive way.
Before joining the firm, Gaspard served as a litigation associate at DLA Piper LLP (US) in Los Angeles and at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York City. He clerked for the Honorable Brenda K. Sannes of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and for Judge Paul G. Feinman of the New York Court of Appeals.
Gaspard has received recognition for his pro bono work, including helping underprivileged children with special needs secure appropriate educational programs and obtaining asylum for an artist persecuted in his home country on account of his sexual orientation.
Gaspard earned his law degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor on the Boston University Law Review. During law school, Gaspard was an extern for the Honorable Juan R. Torruella of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
