The Supreme Court will file tomorrow its opinion in People v. Edwards, a direct automatic appeal from a September 1998 death penalty judgment. Edwards was argued on the court’s late-May calendar.
After tomorrow, there will be five cases from the late-May and early-June calendars that still have opinions left to file, and just two regular filing days before the 90-day-from-argument deadline.
