Tomorrow morning, the Supreme Court will file its opinion in People v. Woodruff. (Briefs here; oral argument video here.) This will be the first opinion for cases argued on the late-May calendar.
Woodruff is an automatic direct appeal from an April 2003 judgment of death. (Fifth District Justice Herbert Levy is the pro tem.)
