The California Supreme Court Historical Society is hosting a dinner to honor former Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar, who retired in 2021 to become president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace after spending more than six years on the court. The occasion is the completion of Cuéllar’s oral history.
Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero is slated to make the introduction at the November 5 event in San Francisco. She was appointed to fill Justice Cuéllar’s seat when he left the court.
