The annual meeting of the California Lawyers Association in San Diego next month will feature some special Supreme Court-related programs.
The meeting runs from Thursday September 21 through Saturday September 23, but Thursday is the Supreme Court day.
First will be “A Conversation With the Chief Justice of California, Patricia Guerrero.” Then San Francisco Chronicle writer and long-time Supreme Court watcher Bob Egelko will interview retired Justice Ming Chin in a session titled, “The Jurisprudence and Legacy of California Supreme Court”; and Chief Justice Guerrero will do the introduction. The day finishes with Justice Kelli Evans giving the keynote address at the California Women Lawyers annual dinner.
There are other great programs scheduled, too, including a Thursday session with acclaimed attorney, author, and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative Bryan Stevenson.
