Rebecca Marcyes delivers thoughtful advocacy and sharp, well-crafted briefs to help clients navigate complex legal challenges.
Rebecca joined the firm in 2023 as an Appellate Fellow and became an Associate in 2025. She graduated from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2022. As a law student, she argued in the Ninth Circuit as certified student counsel with UC Law SF Appellate Project, externed with the Ninth Circuit Office of Staff Attorneys and Bay Area Legal Aid, and mediated small claims disputes through UC Law SF’s Community Justice Clinics. Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca worked on the Central Staff, Criminal Division of the California Supreme Court. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Barnard College.
