Andrea Russi recently participated in a historic oral argument before the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Three. Presiding Justice Kathleen O’Leary observed that it was the first all-female argument in that court—all three justices and both arguing attorneys were women. The same phenomenon has begun to occur in other districts as well. Late last year, Karen Bray also participated in an all-female oral argument before the Second Appellate District, Division One.
