The Chief Justice and the clerk’s office are hiring

March 9, 2018

Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye is looking to hire two chambers attorneys to serve on her personal staff. The job posting says that the attorneys’ responsibilities will include assisting the Chief Justice in drafting conference memoranda, calendar memoranda, and opinions in cases assigned to her, reviewing and critiquing memoranda and proposed opinions in cases assigned to other justices of the Supreme Court, and reviewing memoranda for the court’s weekly petition conference.

Also, there’s one opening in the office of the Supreme Court’s Clerk/Executive Officer. It’s for a deputy clerk or senior deputy clerk.

Of course, the court is also looking to fill a different, long-open position, but applications for that job go to the Governor.
