Matt delivers favorable litigation results through rigorous research and persuasive advocacy.

Matt has worked to develop the key legal theories underlying complex litigation, including in trade secrets, non-disclosure agreement, class action, and toxic tort actions. Matt also has extensive experience putting together jury instructions, identifying legal issues at trial, and preparing briefing to position cases for success both at trial and on appeal.

Before joining the firm, Matt served as a federal prosecutor in the Central District of California, where he charged dozens of cases and obtained over twenty convictions. He previously clerked for the Honorable Virginia A. Phillips of the Central District of California and practiced as an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP.

Matt graduated first in his class from Loyola Law School. He was the Chief Developments Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors Board.
