Supreme Court closed Thursday and next Monday for a couple of presidents

February 9, 2026

Thursday is “Lincoln Day,” a state and judicial holiday.

A week from today is also a state and judicial holiday; and it’s also a federal holiday. The feds call it “Washington’s Birthday.” In California, it’s just “The third Monday in February.”

The Supreme Court and all other state courts will close on both days.
