The Supreme Court has posted videos of the oral arguments in the two cases heard on its January calendar. Both are automatic death penalty appeals.
One of the cases — People v. Deen — should be decided by April 6, within the normal 90-day period. The opinion in the other case — People v. Bertsch and Hronis — might not file until April 30 because supplemental briefing has yet to be completed.
