Thanksgiving is altering the Supreme Court’s routine next week. Instead of conferencing on Wednesday, as usual, the justices will meet on Tuesday. And the court will be closed on Thursday and Friday, which are both judicial holidays.
Because the conference is a day early, the list of matters scheduled for the conference will likely post on Monday afternoon, also a day sooner than normal.
Also, if the court is planning to file any opinions a week from Monday (on December 1), notification will probably go out on Wednesday morning. If opinions in the two cases argued in September don’t file on December 1, they will probably file on December 4.
