Horvitz & Levy welcomes Eric Boorstin and Lisa Freeman

Horvitz & Levy LLP is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Eric S. Boorstin and Lisa Freeman to the firm.

Mr. Boorstin, who joins us from Covington & Burling LLP, has handled intellectual property and general business litigation matters on behalf of a range of clients, including leading media and technology companies, small businesses and individuals. He previously served as a law clerk to Judge J. Clifford Wallace of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Valerie Baker Fairbank of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Boorstin received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his A.B., summa cum laude, from Princeton University.

Ms. Freeman joins the firm after serving as a visiting assistant professor at University of La Verne College of Law. She previously worked in the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where she represented clients in securities and insurance litigation, antitrust cases, internal investigations, and pro bono matters. She clerked for Judge Jerome A. Holmes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and Judge Tena Campbell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. She received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A., with highest distinction, from the University of California, Berkeley.
