On May 5, 2019, at its annual meeting in San Diego, the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers (“CAAL”) elected John A. Taylor, Jr., to serve as President for the 2019-2020 term. Kirk C. Jenkins was also elected to serve as First Vice President for the same term.
CAAL was founded in 1972 and is the nation’s oldest lawyers organization dedicated to the practice of appellate law. Its members are California lawyers with significant appellate experience and are elected to membership only after rigorous review of reputation, skill and character.
