The Supreme Court’s Wednesday conference (also here) is on Tuesday this week. It’s one of only three Tuesday conferences this year.
There was one Tuesday conference for the week when Juneteenth was on a Wednesday There will be another early conference the week of New Year’s Day, which also falls on a Wednesday. Christmas is also on a Wednesday, but no conference at all is scheduled for that week.
The Tuesday conference this week is probably because the court is closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving and the following day, which are judicial holidays.
