The Los Angeles Times reviews former Chief Justice George’s new memoir

November 6, 2013

We recently noted that former Chief Justice Ronald M. George soon would be releasing a memoir/oral history.  The 800-page book was released today. While we still have to get our hands on a copy, here is Maura Dolan’s review in today’s Los Angeles Times.   Based on Dolan’s summary, the book seems sure to be an interesting read.  It encompasses the former Chief’s long and storied career as a California lawyer and judge, and includes his candid views concerning high-profile cases that came before the Court, his relations with former colleagues, the challenges of politics in Sacramento, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
