The Recorder is sponsoring a panel discussion tomorrow at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco to discuss the California Supreme Court’s 2009-2010 term. The Panel will include Justice James Richman of the First District Court of Appeal, Jon Eisenberg of Eisenberg & Hancock, Raymond Cardozo of Reed Smith and Horvitz & Levy’s own Lisa Perrochet. The moderator will be Scott Graham, Editor-in-Chief of The Recorder. According to The Recorder, “The panel will discuss important new civil decisions on subjects like attorney free speech, opinion letters, punitive damages and appellate review of arbitration. Panelists will also look at outgoing Chief Justice Ronald George’s legacy, the new lineup at the court, and the big cases likely to be on next year’s docket.”
