The Fall/Winter 2012 newsletter of the California Supreme Court Historical Society is now available. Among other articles, the newsletter contains reports of the program about Chief Justice David Terry (make sure to check out the photos of Justice Marvin Baxter, as Terry, sporting a beard and brandishing a (fake) Bowie knife) and of Fritz Ohlrich’s retirement as the Supreme Court’s clerk/administrator.
