Chief Justice talks about initiatives, the end of her current term, and more at her annual presser

California Chief Justice Sees Many Court Pandemic Changes as Permanent

The Daily Journal article quotes the Chief Justice as saying, “All options are on the table,” when she was asked whether she expects to run for another 12-year term in 2022.  (Last year, the Chief Justice was more positive; she said she was planning to stand for reelection.)  Also, she was less than complimentary about voter-passed laws, stating, “I haven’t seen clear language in an initiative, ever.”
