Acknowledging but rejecting pleas from 19 California law school deans and others, the Supreme Court today announced it will not retroactively apply the lower bar passing score that it ordered last month. The court’s decision was conveyed to the State Bar in a letter accompanying an order that details the administration and scoring of the next bar exam, which has been rescheduled for October 5 and 6.
Bar admissions is one of the court’s many non-case-related responsibilities.
