The Bar Association of San Francisco will present, “What to expect from the Brown Court.” The May 8 early evening program will feature Joshua Groban, who is not only the Supreme Court’s newest justice but also who, as a senior advisor to then-Governor Jerry Brown, played an integral role in the appointment of three of his current judicial colleagues.
Other program speakers are Horvitz & Levy partner Kirk Jenkins; appellate lawyer and blogger Benjamin Shatz; and David Carrillo, executive director of Berkeley Law School’s California Constitution Center. San Mateo Superior Court Judge Danny Chou will moderate.
