Ryan C. Chapman
Ryan Chapman joined the firm in 2017 as part of Horvitz & Levy LLP’s Appellate Fellowship Program. Since joining the firm, Mr. Chapman has participated in a variety of projects alongside other Horvitz & Levy attorneys, including the drafting of briefs in the California Supreme Court, performing case-related legal research, and developing articles for publication.
Mr. Chapman graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Mr. Chapman served as a Lead Articles Editor on the Pepperdine Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Team, a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing, a teaching fellow for the Academic Success Program, and was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers. Mr. Chapman also participated in Pepperdine’s Ninth Circuit Appellate Advocacy Clinic where he helped secure a reversal for a pro se appellant.
