Sheridan Caldwell’s talent for crafting nuanced legal arguments is a benefit to clients both at the trial level and on appeal.

Sheridan has experience briefing wide-ranging issues for high profile corporations, from procedural motions to dismiss for health care clients to substantive appellate briefs for major technology companies. She also has a strong background in nationwide tort and fraud class actions, including coordinating consolidation of more than thirty separate actions arising from the same data breach event. Sheridan maintains an active pro bono practice, and recently secured a favorable published decision from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on a novel prison litigation issue.

Sheridan clerked for the Honorable Richard C. Tallman on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She attended Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as a Notes Editor for the Northwestern University Law Review and Co-President of the Moot Court Society.

Before joining the firm, Sheridan was a member of the complex commercial litigation practice at Latham & Watkins LLP where she defended Fortune 500 companies in a variety of consumer, securities, and privacy-related matters in both state and federal courts across the country.
