Sarah Fiskin joined the firm in 2025 as part of Horvitz & Levy’s Appellate Fellowship Program.
As a Fellow, she assists in drafting appellate briefs, motions, and letters to the court. She also supports other Horvitz & Levy attorneys by researching complex legal issues, drafting legal memoranda, and cite-checking briefs and motions.
Sarah earned her Juris Doctor as an evening student at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. While attending law school, she worked full time as a licensed clinical social worker in the homeless services sector. At Loyola, Sarah participated in the Office of the Federal Public Defender Capital Habeas Unit Clinic and the inaugural California Appellate Clinic. Sarah also externed at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the chambers of the Honorable Kim M. Wardlaw. Prior to law school, Sarah earned her Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Bachelor of Arts in French Literature from Cornell University.
