Horvitz & Levy Partner Jeremy Rosen To Be Nominated to Los Angeles Federal District Court

President Trump has announced his intention to nominate Horvitz & Levy partner Jeremy B. Rosen to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Jeremy is an accomplished appellate attorney and a sought-after expert in First Amendment and anti-SLAPP litigation as well as the law of defamation and application of the litigation privilege. Jeremy is also director of the Pepperdine University School of Law Ninth Circuit Appellate Advocacy Clinic. In recent years, the clinic has advocated for and won numerous appeals on behalf of pro se litigants in various civil rights appeals.
Jeremy joined Horvitz & Levy in 2001. He is a Certified Appellate Specialist, a member of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers, and has handled hundreds of appeals in a wide variety of areas.
Jeremy attended Cornell University and received his J.D. from Duke University Law School, where he was Order of the Coif. Following law school, Jeremy clerked for the Hon. William Matthew Byrne of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the Hon. Ferdinand F. Fernandez of the U.S. Courtn of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
