Jeremy Rosen listed in Daily Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers in California for the second consecutive year
September 10, 2014
Horvitz & Levy LLP partner Jeremy B. Rosen has been named to the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal’s list of the Top 100 Lawyers in California. As described by the editors of the Daily Journal, their annual Top 100 list recognizes attorneys whose work has a broad impact throughout California. They seek to honor attorneys who are changing an industry or the law, or society as a whole.
When Mr. Rosen appeared on the list last year, he was recognized for his work on cutting edge First Amendment issues, including the precedent-setting opinion in Malin v. Singer (2013) 217 Cal.App.4th 1283. This year he is recognized for his representation of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in a number of appellate cases, including a Ninth Circuit case, Romo v. Teva Pharmaceuticals, that is expected to have a significant impact on the treatment of mass action litigation in California.
Mr. Rosen’s appearance on the Top 100 is the latest in a series of accolades for H&L attorneys. Although we are a small firm, we have been top ranked as an appellate firm by Chambers & Partners, Best Lawyers, The National Law Journal, and Martindale Hubbell. Our attorneys have received individual recognition in several of the Daily Journal’s lists — Top 100 Lawyers in California, Top 20 Under 40, Top 75 Labor & Employment Attorneys, and Top Women Litigators. Our attorneys have also received several California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year (CLAY) awards and Public Counsel’s Pro Bono Award.
