Marshall helps clients achieve their goals by providing sound legal advice at the trial level and cogent briefing and oral argument during appeals. Having appeared in numerous California and federal courts as a Deputy Attorney General with the California Department of Justice, Marshall is intimately familiar with California and federal procedural and substantive law in a wide range of areas. Clients rely on Marshall’s thoughtfulness and poise to get them through their most challenging times.
Marshall earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he externed for Administrative Presiding Justice James Humes at the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, and he earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Merced, where he co-founded the Merced County Youth Court and was a member of the men’s basketball team.
Marshall joined the firm after clerking for Chief District Judge Troy L. Nunley at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
