How John Helps Clients
John Sprangers's deep experience in appellate law and high-stakes trial work makes him an asset to clients at all stages of litigation, from pre-trial strategy through appeals. Before joining the firm, John worked in the appellate practice groups of two international law firms and as a Deputy City Attorney in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. He has drafted dozens of briefs spanning diverse areas of law at all levels of the judiciary, including eight briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court. John also represented a major consumer goods company on trial teams for two historic public nuisance trials at which tens of billions of dollars were at stake.
John is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, where he served on the law review. After graduation, John clerked for the Honorable Pamela A. Harris of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
