Joshua C. McDaniel
Josh McDaniel is an associate at the firm with appellate and trial court experience in a wide range of practice areas, including business torts, personal injury, securities, class actions, and high-stakes contract disputes. He has also defended religious organizations in cases raising First Amendment and religious liberty issues.
Mr. McDaniel recently argued before the California Supreme Court on behalf of amici curiae in Perry v. Bakewell Hawthorne, a case involving the interpretation of California’s summary judgment and expert witness disclosure statutes, and the Supreme Court unanimously adopted the positions urged by amici.
Before joining the firm, Mr. McDaniel practiced as a litigation associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jay S. Bybee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Cormac J. Carney of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
