Karen M. Bray
Karen Bray is a partner at the firm, where she has focused on appellate litigation since 2000. She has represented clients on a broad range of issues including a wide variety of torts, employment law, insurance coverage and bad faith, Proposition 51 and fault apportionment, discovery sanctions, punitive damages, breach of contract, attorney fees, default judgments, premises liability, toxic tort, and California’s Unfair Competition Law (Business and Professions Code section 17200). Ms. Bray also served as the lead defense brief writer for a series of product liability arbitrations which took place across the country.
Ms. Bray also has extensive experience consulting with trial counsel to preserve issues for appeal. In that capacity, she has assisted trial counsel in a broad variety of cases with summary judgment motions, motions in limine, jury instructions, trial briefs, verdict forms, and post-trial motions.
