Eight Horvitz & Levy Partners Included in The Best Lawyers in America(R) 2008

Horvitz & Levy LLP had eight partners selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2008 (Copyright 2007 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.).  Peter Abrahams, David M. Axelrad, Frederic D. Cohen, Ellis J. Horvitz, Barry R. Levy, John A. Taylor, Jr., and Mitchell C. Tilner were noted for thier work in the field of Appellate law.  Mr. Horvitz was also included in the fields of Commercial Litigation and Health Care Law, and Mr. Levy was included on the Commercial Litigation list.  Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence in the United States.

Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which 24,000 leading attorneys throughout the country cast almost two million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
