Jason Litt joined the firm in 2001 and
became a partner in 2008. He
is admitted to practice in California state courts and the
U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Litt was a civil rights attorney
specializing in complex housing, employment and government
entity litigation, and an Internet entrepreneur.
Mr. Litt has handled numerous cases before the California
Court of Appeal and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth
Circuit. Several of these cases resulted in significant published
decisions, which have established important legal propositions
in the fields of insurance bad faith, government entity litigation,
employment law and trade secret law.
Mr. Litt received his Bachelor of Arts from the University
of California at Berkeley and his Juris Doctor from Harvard
Law School, where he was a finalist in the Ames Moot Court
competition.
