Bradley S. Pauley
Associate
Brad Pauley joined the firm in 2003.
He is admitted to practice in California state courts
and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Pauley's appellate
experience covers a broad range of substantive areas,
including insurance coverage and bad faith, employment
law, privacy,
professional responsibility and
constitutional law.
He has argued cases before the California Supreme Court
and Courts of Appeal. Published opinions on which his
name appears

Mr. Pauley has also developed an
expertise in class action jurisprudence. Mr. Pauley
has lectured on class action law and recently assisted
in obtaining a dramatic reduction in the size of a
certified multi-state class following
extensive briefing in the Court of Appeal.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pauley
was a litigation associate with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker
LLP, where he worked on a broad variety of litigation
matters.
Mr. Pauley is in charge of the marketing
efforts of the American Bar Association's
Council
of Appellate Lawyers.
Mr. Pauley received his Bachelor of
Arts and his Juris Doctor from the University of California
at Los Angeles. While at UCLA, he served as Coordinating
Editor for the UCLA Journal of Environmental Law &
Policy.
