Lisa Perrochet
Partner

Lisa Perrochet joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in 1994. She is a California State Bar Certified Appellate Specialist and is admitted to practice in all California state courts as well as a number of federal district and circuit courts.

Ms. Perrochet’s practice areas include defense against consumer law litigation and punitive damages claims; insurance coverage and bad faith litigation; products and premises liability; professional ethics and professional liability. In addition to handling numerous appeals and writ proceedings (her name appears on close to 70 published opinions and dozens of unpublished opinions), Ms. Perrochet has authored articles on a range of legal topics for law reviews, magazines and practice guides. She has also presented seminars and continuing legal education lectures on such topics as unfair business practices liability, class action litigation, and appellate procedure.

In 2007, Ms. Perrochet was named one of the top women litigators by the Daily Journal. (Click here to read the article.) She was also honored with a CLAY (California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year) award for her work on the Border Business Park, Inc. v. City of San Diego case. (Click here to read the article, which appeared in the March 2007 issue of California Lawyer magazine.) Ms. Perrochet has been honored by the California Super Lawyers magazine every year since 2004 and, in 2006, Ms. Perrochet was named one of the Top 50 Female Southern California Super Lawyers.

Ms. Perrochet is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Appellate Courts Committee and is a board member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, serving as the editor of the association’s quarterly publication, Verdict magazine.
